The Artist
Art is my passion. In life, I am over analytical and organized—a planner. But as an artist, I live in each moment, allowing my instincts to guide my design. My art teachers always said you had to follow the rules before you could break them. I spent years perfecting the realistic, but now my style is led more by abstract feeling. The vibrant colors and flowing strokes you see in most of my pieces reflect the emotions I pour into them as I create.
Women Series
I started my series of women in 2006 for an art auction raising money for the Rape Recovery Center. I create women that are beautiful, graceful, strong, and confident -- my definition of femininity. My hope is for each woman to find this incredible female from within herself and paint her beauty on the world.
A little about me...
I earned a bachelor's degree in Art and Communications from Westminster College. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah with my husband, Nate, our son, Zachary, and our sweet boxer pup, Daisy.
